Caffeine, Insulin Resistance and Tea

There's new research suggesting that caffeine contributes to insulin resistance, which is an indicator type 2 diabetes may be developing.

This article reviews research on tea and its effect on insulin resistance and other health issues. It seems to indicate that tea is still really the best thing to drink habitually.

Since I've given up coffee, soda and never really got into alcoholic beverages, tea is the only liquid pleasure I allow myself any more. So it had better contribute to my good health!
